After the headboard and pillows, it's time for the sheets, indispensable accessories for a bed identical to those in luxury hotels. Linen, cotton, percale, polyester... it's not always easy to know which textile to turn to! Each one of them offers its own comfort and quality, which vary according to the quality of the fibers and their density per square centimeter
The more threads there are, the softer and more resistant the sheets will be: most of the major hotels and palaces offer bed linen in 300 threads, ideal for withstanding repeated washing all year round.
In terms of fabrics, I always advise people who hesitate to turn to natural fibers (linen, organic cotton, hemp ...) rather than synthetic materials (polyester, some weaves such as percale or flannel which also contain polyester ...). My latest whim? Cotton gauze sheets, both soft and very aesthetic: they are ideal to accessorize a bed in the manner of luxury hotels! As for the choice of colors, there is only one watchword: opt for light colors or, better yet, white to accentuate the feeling of freshness and purity in the room.
The bedspread may seem to be a secondary accessory, but it has an importance of size in the room, just like the curtains or the set of sheets. It allows to hide the feet and the unsightly fabric of some bed bases when you don't have a bed frame.
